  • How to evaluate the needs in a community
  • How to fulfill those needs in an appropriate manner
  • Choosing a program that is right for you
  • Examples of projects which have involved international ophthalmology with a focus on retinal treatment
  • Discuss how these projects may optimally manage the balance between patient care, knowledge transfer, and technology transfer
