Objectives:

• Erectile dysfunction is defined and its prevalence and co-morbidities are discussed
• Workup and evaluation of ED patients is reviewed including the use of Gold Standard questionnaires and diagnostic methods
• Current and future therapeutic options are discussed including the role of PDE 5 inhibitors such as Viagra, Levitra and Cialis
• Review a new technique, the Artificial Urinary Sphincter (AUS) procedure, for erectile dysfunction

• This event is eligible for Section 2 CME credit as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and may also be incorporated into a personal learning project (PLP) under Section 4 (Structured Learning Projects).
